So excited to see what God will do in our two week Gold Rush VBS at the public school just a few doors down from our church in Lviv. Ukrainians don't use the words VBS so we are going to use English Camp so they will understand what we are doing.

Asking for your prayers for us as we prepare. That God would bring our VBS team of 13 closer together as we prepare and serve. FOr God to bring many children to learn God's Word. That God would open and soften the hearts of the parents and children to receive God's gift, Jesus! Here is the Flyer in English :) Thank you all, God Bless You!

Praise God! He has provided for my Ukrainian visa. I was able to go to Budapest and get my Ukrainian visa at the first of July. It is good for one year but that is if you get your temporary residency permit. I only have 45 days from the time I came back on July 5th from Budapest to get this done. My attorney has contacted me and now says I only have until July 29th to pay him and get the process started. God has blessed me with an address to register at in Kiev and now I must go there and pay an attorney to complete all the necessary paperwork. The trip to Budapest and the trip and attorney toget my temporary residency permit are expenses I had not planned on as the laws here changed. My expenses for this are about $800. If you would like to contribute to help with these expenses please click here. This is a secure payment site through Horizon Christian Fellowship in Indianapolis, IN. Thank you all for your prayers, encouragements, and financial support. God is doing great things in Lviv and I am so glad to have you apart of this mission....to God be the Glory!

My first Month in Lviv

Dear Family and Friends, Thank you so much for your continued support and prayers!... it is so good to be here in Lviv and serving  alongside the Pratts, Sneads and Janisses. I arrived in Lviv on May 14th after a three week missions trip to Lviv, Kiev and Kharkiv with Calvary CHapel Bible College Indianapolis, to start working with New Horizons Lviv a new Calvary Chapel church plant. My brief time here has been busy with VBS, a missions team from Virginia, English Club, Koinania Cafe, Sunday Service, the two dogs I watch, shopping to get basic necessities, figuring out transportation, trying to learn the leanguage, and steeping into my new role and duties at the church. Your contnued prayers and support are greatly appreciated!

A Place to Call Home

God is so good and always faithful! I was worried where I would live once I arrived in Lviv. Dennis and Georgia Janisse graciously hosted me for a couple of nights and then God opened up a place for me to serve and stay. One of the missionary families serving in Lviv for eight years did not get their visas and had to leave for three months to the states. They asked if I would watch their two dogs, Carrie a dalmatian and Duke a dauchund, and sublet their apartment for three months. I was glad to and God opened up a place for me to stay and to have all I need. I have two new babushkas (grandmas) to look after and they look after me. The Ledfords were so great to show me around the city and show me where to shop, pay bills, and all about public transportation. Getting use to a new place is not always easy but they made it seem so. I am at home in Lviv and am looking for an apartment of my own as they plan on returning in September.

VBS at Public School

Our church had the privilege of hosting a Vacation Bible School at the public school on our block for two days this past week. We had a time for games, Bible stories, crafts, snacks, hand painting and balloon animals. 39 kids attended and we all had a great time together. Please pray God would keep opening hearts here at this school and others for the Gospel to be shared. You can see more photos here Click Here!

Jeremy Camp Concert Kiev June 22nd

Some of the people from New Horizon Lviv will be going by train to the Jeremy Camp concert in Kiev on June 22nd to help be counselors to those wishing to pray and accept Jesus. Please pray for this outreach, pray hearts would be softened and open to the Gospel. Pray for all the finances that are needed to put on such an outreach, pray for the Kiev Calvary chapel as they host this event, pray for safe travels as we go and for many to come to know Jesus!
