Summer Update from Lviv!

Summer in Lviv

Dear Family and Friends, Thank you so much for your continued support and prayers!... This summer has been a blessed time to serve. Our church has had a few outreaches in the park and also two weeks of VBS that have been Spirit lead and filled and totally miraculous. Our first outreach was aimed at reaching people through prayer. We also were able to have music, crafts, face painting, and Bible stories for the children as well as handing out many Bibles and church literature to the public. Reaching out to the lost in Lviv is a priority and I am looking forward to our next outreach!






We had two weeks of "Gold Rush" VBS here at New Horizons Lviv! What an awesome time sharing Jesus with the kids!

David Pisacane from Horizon came all the way from Indy to bless us and help with VBS! He was able to share Bible stories with them and more importantly the love of Jesus! Thank you David! What a blessing you were to me and everyone you came in contact with here :)




New Horizons celebrated 6 new lives given to Jesus on September 15th! Please pray for them as they begin their journey! So AWESOME to see what God is doing in Lviv in the hearts of men and women!

This week we have the high school kids for a week of VBS. God is doing great things here in Lviv, Please continue to pray for us as we share Jesus and His love with the people of Lviv. Pray for our church that we will be the hands and feet of Jesus and bodly share the good news!

Elderly in Lviv, Ukraine

Greetings from Lviv! God has been putting on my heart a great burden for the elderly here in Lviv, Ukraine. Did you know that most live on a stipend of just $100 a month and that has to cover their housing, utilities, healthcare, food, and clothing? I am praying about starting an outreach at New Horizons Lviv to help them and share the love of Jesus. I see having a dinner for them weekly with a bible study and then providing some essentials like bread, milk, eggs, oil, flour and sugar, hat, coats, and gloves for the winter, and basic hygiene products. So excited to see what God will do in our two week Gold Rush VBS at the public school just a few doors down from our church in Lviv. Ukrainians don't use the words VBS so we are going to use English Camp so they will understand what we are doing.

Asking for your prayers for us as we prepare. That God would bring our VBS team of 13 closer together as we prepare and serve. FOr God to bring many children to learn God's Word. Praise God! He has provided for my Ukrainian visa. I was able to go to Budapest and get my Ukrainian visa at the first of July. It is good for one year but that is if you get your temporary residency permit. I only have 45 days from the time I came back on July 5th from Budapest to get this done. My attorney has contacted me and now says I only have until July 29th to pay him and get the process started. God has blessed me with an address to register at in Kiev and now I must go there and pay an attorney to complete all the necessary paperwork. The trip to Budapest and the trip and attorney toget my temporary residency permit are expenses I had not planned on as the laws here changed. My expenses for this are about $800. We had an Amazing time Sunday after our service learning to play baseball....for some this was their first time playing....the all did great! Praising the Lord for great fellowship, we really enjoy spending time together and were so blessed this day!
